Thus, in terms of how the subconscious processes priorities, a “threat”, such as poor air quality, is classed as being more important than the “joy” at seeing a beautiful illustration.
General Assumption about the Emotions
For many, there is still the assumption that we react in a particular way through conscious perception. Up until now, this has formed the basis of studies; the attempt to define and evaluate the importance of the senses. However, every sensory perception is processed in our brains as an entirety of all sensations. Seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling and tasting - it is the combination of all sensations that are evaluated by us. This also happens when we are unaware of it. Most of the time it is not taken into account.
