Each symptom has its own odour aura. This was already being utilised in early medicine. In old textbooks, each illness was also described with an impression of the smell. Even today, doctors and nursing staff are very aware of how each different symptom smells different.
The Hospital Smell
Who enjoys going to hospital? Agreed - there are some exceptions, such as births or visiting a newborn baby.
Which smell appeals to you? The disinfection and the sterility that follows you around the whole hospital. Does it invite you to stay a while? Hardly anyone would consider the fact that, to a certain extent, these smells actually hinder the recovery.
